Screw them and their proper traditional ways!

I'm entering this Art Competition for the category 'Works on Paper'...As you can see the above deviation is my A3 entry.

Yes. That's right. An art competition that doesn't include DIGITAL artwork.

I don't know what makes me more angry. The pressure to draw realistically/artistically/professionally or the fact there is no digital pictures allowed.

So to hell with fitting in, I'm doing surrealism my way!

It is beautiful Pearlie! I love it. The colours and everything...see, I told you you'd be good with colours :) I like the design of Roger's coat. I don't know. Maybe it's the pseudo-Victorian in me squealing with joy :aww:
It's so very colourful and eye-catching.
And, you know, digital art isn't the best kind o f art around :D I don't like it much meself. I mean, sometimes I'll feel like doing it, but not often.

Love surrealism works. And although I do Visual Communication/Design, I have a soft spot for traditional art. Digital art annoys me sometimes. =P

Would that drawing, by any chance, be watercolour pencil? Colours are lovely. :)
